AHI staffs a complete in-house engineering team dedicated to various jobs, tasks, and functions; however one of their most important roles is the product redesign team function. In this role the team will take a component or part and perform a complete diagnosis to find out the purpose of the part, its functionality and strength. Our goal is to reverse engineer the component and develop a plan as to how the part can become part of our unique hydroforming process. We often conclude the requested material types are selected because of their temperance to withstand 4-5 different processes, generally including a high temperature welding procedure. Our robust line of manufacturing equipment allows us to handle almost any job completely in-house, again passing our efficiencies on to our customers.
American Hydroformers offer both the capability and knowledge to modify and redesign existing products that may benefit from the hydroforming process. Our product redesign team is considered a strategic asset to our company as they continue to provide AHI with a competitive edge in innovation.
